Here come another one of my favorite lens (which is sadly no longer in my possession), Canon LTM 50/1.2. Compared to other fast 50 lenses, this one is relatively compact and comfy to carry around all day without breaking my shoulders. To be a little more techy, let me share some spec here:

  • Introduced in 1956 (wow, that's wayyy before I was born)
  • 7 elements in 5 groups, 11blades.
  • 55mm filter thread

Now, dun think Im in the positive to write some sort of technical/ comparison review here, as I mentioned in my earlier post, comments are solely based on my feeling of usage. I think this lens gives a fantastic result to be played with PP tools such as Photoshop, Aperture or whichever. I mostly shoot at f1.2 or 1.4 which is quite soft and pleasant. The rest of aperture renders in an acceptable level of sharpness. The focus ring can be a bit slow compared to your usual Leica standard lens but again, with a fraction of Leica price, this lens delivers what it's build for.
