It's amazing to meet up with my good old friend last weekend and went for a short trip with his group. I was fortunate enough to have a half-day loan of his Leica 21mm/f3.4 ASPH and shot with it in Kamakura, Ginza and Shinjuku. I never thought of using such a focal length since I'm either 35mm or 50mm kinda guy. After playing with it for a while, it was totally new experience for me, the way to frame the shot, the depth, size, etc. It was really lots of fun and amazing to shoot with this lens as it opened up new point of views, composition and overall outcome. Instead of landscape photography, I've found the lens to be a really great companion for street photography, be it candid, hip shot, etc. I am starting to seriously think about having one of this focal length for my street shooting...Thanks to my friend and his lens, now I am tempted..
