I totally missed the early sakura in Kawazu this year but was fortunate enough to catch the one in Miurakaigan. Although some leaves already started to come out, it was still a beauty to capture. Another great weekend escape with the Meetup group, mostly new faces, but we got along quite well. It was a nice walk with sakura trees along the road leading to a park. Then we had a bit of beach visit nearby after lunch. I somehow thought of the time when I shot sakura with slide films, so I converted these photos on Aperture into a cross-process like and it did such a fine job. M-E + Kobalux 21/2.8 and Jupiter 85/2

Luckily the sakura was still waiting for us before falling. A nice & sweet walk from a station. If you go doing summer, you can also enjoy the beach (another walking distance from a station in the opposite direction).
