Photo Spot in Tokyo: Kagurazaka

Kagurazaka might be one of the most interesting neighborhoods to take a stroll in Tokyo. In the past this area was a gathering place for Geisha, with numerous teahouses, and the influence still remains today. Take a step off the main thoroughfare, with its rows of stylish stores, cafes and other new establishments, and you will wander into a mysterious district of narrow traditional alleys and Japanese teahouses. Zenkokuji temple, the symbol of Kagurazaka is also popular stop in my photoshoot.

For two hours session, this area can be combined with a boat ride on Canal Cafe, a stylish riverside cafe with great view of Sakura trees lining up on the riverside during spring, or Koishikawa Korakuen, a famous traditional Japanese garden just a quick taxi ride away.
