Tokyo Rainy Days Photoshoot

“What if it rains on the day of our photoshoot ?” - I was asked many times by several people & potential clients and I would say “yeah, let’s go for it!”. Here are my thoughts, you will be the judge.

Have it all to Yourself

On rainy days, there will be much less people at always busy locations such as Shinjuku’s Memory Lane, Asakusa or even during the cherry blossom season! You will have the location all to yourself where we can capture very clean, free of by-passers (and photo bombers) images.

The Extraordinary in The Ordinary

A clear umbrella, lights reflected from the street puddles and raindrops in the background will create a special touch for your photos which makes them very unique, unlike most photos taken at the same spot on a sunny day. You can see how neon-lights colours explode at the Kabukicho crossing below.

And..It is so romantic! (great for skin tone too)

Rainy sonata

Although it is wet and slippery, photoshoot on raining days will reward you with clean, uniquely beautiful photos with a great skin-tone rendering. I hope you reconsider whenever there is an opportunity to have a photoshoot on a rainy day. Feel free to contact me if you have any question/ comment.
