Fall Colors@Komoro, Nagano

It was a right decision to visit this place for snapping foliage colors, I was trying hard to avoid those spots where you see more people than leaves. Komoro castle (ruin/ foundation of castle) is situated just a few minutes walk from Komoro station in Nagano is one of those under appreciated places. The access is fairly easy since you need to change only once at Nagano, then take a local line to Komoro station. Although there is no castle left, the park area is quite spacious and offers variety of picturesque scenes. The day was filled with lots of beautiful leaves, fresh air, delicious soba and lastly great onsen at Hoshino resort in Karuizawa.

Thanks Sachi and Chai for a great company!

All photos were shot with Leica M2 + Nikkor 50/1.4 LTM and Zeiss 25/2.8 ZM + Fuji Pro 400h.
