Ridley Scott built Blade Runner's Los Angeles out of Tokyo's own visual language — kanji signage stacked twenty feet high, rain-slicked crossings, the glow of a thousand vending machines and izakaya lanterns bleeding into the dark. Shooting a cyberpunk portrait here isn't costume or CGI. It's pointing a camera at the city that was the reference photo in the first place, then grading it with the same teal-and-amber color science that made the film iconic.

  • Absolutely! I plan family sessions around your kids' energy and bedtime, and the same Blade Runner color grading applies — it's one of the most requested ways to make a family trip photo look genuinely different from a typical vacation snapshot.

  • I usually recommend normal, everyday streetwear over costumes — solid colors and minimal logos photograph best against the neon, and a clean, contemporary outfit tends to look more stylish and timeless in the final images than anything costume-like. It's worth noting that this isn't a cosplay-style session: the cyberpunk look comes from the color grading and the city itself, not from what you're wearing

  • Rain often makes the cyberpunk look better — reflections in wet pavement are part of the aesthetic. In heavier rain we'll move to covered or arcade locations nearby.

  • You'll receive 45+ manually edited, color-graded photos (90+ with the natural-color add-on), usually delivered within 48- 76 hours of the shoot* (*T&C applied during peak seasons).

  • This session is based in one location — Shibuya or Shinjuku — chosen ahead of time based on your style and the night's conditions. I can arrange for a longer session if you like to cover both.

  • No, I'm not affiliated with any car groups, and their presence depends on what's there that night. They're part of the creative environment when available, not a guaranteed feature.

  • No — this is a private photoshoot where I'm the photographer and you're the subject. If you want to learn camera skills on a guided group walk, a workshop-style tour is a better fit; this session is built for people who want a finished, professionally shot and edited portrait set.
