Tokyo Surprise Proposal x Autumn Leaves
Compared to cherry blossom in Spring, Autumn in Tokyo might be slightly overlooked as late November- early December might not be the best time to travel and get your leave approved. There are many hidden gems tucked away in many less well-known gardens (relatively to Shinjuku Gyoen or Yoyogi Park) such as Koishikawa Korakuen. It is one of the classic Japanese garden with beautiful Edo-style landscape, another perfect spot for a surprise proposal!
We started off early in the dat to avoid the crowd and minimize harsh sunlight. Although it was a little early for the autumn leaves, we could still capture the wonderful colors of nature along with an artistic design of the garden.
Within a walking distance from the garden, we continued our session around Kagurazaka neighborhood. It is an area with several classy traditional Japanese and French restaurants. Highly recommended place to explore, especially if you have already visited Tokyo for a few times.
